Every young person will be able to identify with the problems these students face as they attempt to live for Christ and win others to Him. Trent Carson, the kid from Kansas, arrives at an inter-city Los Angeles high school hoping to start a Bible club. He does meet other believers and even a teachers willing to sponcer the club, but he also encounters biology instructor, Mr. Murphy, who threatens to flunk him for not embracing evolution, Spike, the ruthless gang leader who becomes his enemy when Trent exposes his plot against the principal, credible information that the gang is triying to harm him and a cheerleader’s trap. The addition of a drive-by shooting and a real explosion make the book a page turner.
