NEHEMIAH: Working with Walls and other Impossibilities

Instead of sticking with his secure and comfortable life, Nehemiah took many risks and accepted huge responsibilities to accomplish great things for God. Every time he faced problems, whether with people working on the wall, opposition from enemies or false rumors, Nehemiah prayed - not long prayers spelling out all the details but momentary cries for help. As a leader, he worked hard, side by side with his people,
and never used his position for personal advantage. After finishing the wall, his priority was teaching the word of God to the people. If we, after a great victory, seek to know God better, instead of just relaxing, we’d avoid a lot of problems.
