Finding True Love That Lasts Forever

The Bible speaks often about God's “steadfast love.” Steadfast love is forever love. It never changes. It is always the same. Your mom might not love you for an hour after you lose the smartphone she bought you. Your boyfriend or girlfriend might love you less after you
disappointed him or her. Your employer may not have loved you at all the day you overslept and left the restaurant shorthanded.

But God will always love you. Jesus came to earth to offer visible proof of God's eternal love. Although Jesus knew that the “rich young ruler” would not give up his wealth to follow Him, the Bible says, “And Jesus looking upon him loved him.”
